Project Description and Objectives:
The project aims at enhancing the socio-economic development in north and
central Albania by improving traffic services to meet the increasing demand on
the region. The project includes the following two phases:
First phase: Constructing a new road along the existing road with a total
length of 5 km that includes the construction of the main road consisting of two
lanes in each direction, inner island, service road and protection and
lightening works.
Second phase: Construction of reinforcement concrete flyover on Durres
roundabout with a total length of 320 m. Also construction of reinforcement
drainage canal for the water discharge throughout the road alignment of 1 km
length in addition to side walks, lighting works, and consultancy services and
supervision. |
