Project Description and Objectives:
        The project aims at upgrading the infrastructure and environmental services for 20th field area and parts of surrounding Bibihaibat, Badamdar and Bayil settlements in Baku city through the reconstruction and extension of water supply and sanitation system. The project includes the following components:
    a. Civil works and equipment including:
        1. Water supply system: by constructing main water supply pipeline with a total length of 22 km, pumping station with capacity of 1,400 m3 per hour, four water reservoirs with capacity of 2,000 m3 each, four water pumping stations with discharge capacity of 400 m3 per hour, water supply network with a total length of 80 km and water meters.
        2. Sanitation system: by constructing a waste water network with a total length of 72 km, two pumping stations with discharge capacity of 400 m3 per hour each, waste water treatment plant with a capacity of 50,000 m3 per day, two pipelines to transmit waste water to the treatment plant with a length of 16 km and a pipeline to discharge a part of waste water to the waste water treatment plant by gravity with a total length of 4 km.
    b. Consultancy services including the preparation of designs, tender documents and the supervision of the execution of the second phase of the project.
