Project
Description
and Objectives:
The project aims at reconstructing and rehabilitating 10 harbors that were
affected by Tsunami earthquake and sea tide disaster in order to facilitate
movement between atolls and enhance fishing and other economic activities. These
harbors shall serve 10 inhabited islands. The project includes the following
components:
a. Civil and construction works including the construction of 10
harbors in the islands of Baa Dharavandhoo, Kaafu Kashidhoo, Baa Goidhoo, Alifu
Mathiveri, Kaafu Dhiffushi, Aaa ýAlifu Huraafushi, Haa Alifu Ihavandhoo, Thaa
Hirilandhoo, Gaafu Alifu Dhevvadhoo and Ksafu Huraa.
b. Consultancy services including supervision works and monitoring of
the project execution on the 10 islands. |
