Project Construction and Rehabilitation of Alat Pumping Station in Bukhara Region

Project Description and Objectives:
        The project aims at securing water for the arable lands to minimize losses of agricultural production. It will also support and increase the economic potential of irrigated farming in Bukhara region. The project includes the following components:
     a. Civil works including the construction of buildings for pumping stations, a connecting canal with a total length of 428 m, buildings of water distribution equipment and control rooms, administrative buildings, fuel and lubes warehouse and water tank.
    b. Rehabilitating the auxiliary pumping station in Alat city including the replacement of the pumps and electric and auxiliary equipment and cables.
     c. Providing mechanical and electric works for the second pumping station in Alat city including purchasing and installation of pumps equipment, water discharge facilities and pipes, electric works and spare parts.
    d. Consultancy services including designs, supervision of the execution and preparation of tender documents.
