share in terms of the total amount financed and the number of
projects approved by the Fund .
The SFD financed 6 projects, 2 in education and 4 in
health, totalling SR. 473.25 million, and accounting for 42.71%
of the SFD's total financing extended during the year .
The SFD continued to focus on transportation and
communication sector because it is an essential factor to social
and economic development, nonetheless it is quite unattractive
to the private investors .
In road sector, the SFD financed 6 projects
totalling SR. 296.25 million, and representing 26.73% of the
SFD's total financing for the year .
In agriculture sector, the SFD financed 4 projects
totalling of SR 238.75 million, accounting for 21.54% of the
SFD's total financing in 2007 .
In other sectors, a project of SR. 100 million was
financed by the Fund, representing 9.02% of the SFD's total
