The
project's objective is to complete the land reclamation and the
infrastructure of the irrigation system in the target areas of 68,000
hectares in the regions of Searlahi, Ruteat and Parra. The project is of
two phases :
Phase I: completion of agricultural land reclamation and
infrastructure for the irrigation system for an area of 16600 hectares
out of the remaining targeted region of 45,600 hectares in the Searlahi
and Ruteat regions, in addition to rehabilitate Bagmati irrigation
system.
Phase II:
Execution of the infrastructure of the irrigation system and
agricultural land reclamation in the Parra region for an area of 22,400
hectares . |
