Export Financing Transactions Approved by the SFD

 

    The SEP received a number of applications for funding national goods export transactions during the fiscal year of 2007, of which the SFD approved 15 transactions to export Saudi non-oil products worth about SR. 432 million. This brings the total financing applications approved by the SFD since the launch of SEP to 103 applications with a total value of SR. 4090 million. Other financing applications are still under consideration. The financing transactions approved this year include export of national goods and services to the following countries: United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Iran, Yemen, Egypt, Ethiopia, Qatar and Djibouti. The goods exported involve  petrochemicals, iron, trucks, plastic pipes, children supplies and computer devices .
     The approved transactions open 5 lines of finance with foreign banks to finance a variety of Saudi exports to Yemen, Egypt and Sudan .
