The project aim’s to develop a network of rural roads on the island of
Pemba, Zanzibar, to streamline the transportation difficulties, to
reduce the transport cost of the agricultural products and other
commodities, and to help boost the economic and social development in
the island. The total length of the asphalted roads is 50.2 kilometers.
These roads are :
1 - Chak Chak – Witty Road, 19.9 km .
2 - Witty - Ghando Road, 15.2 km .
3 - Witty - Condé Road, 15.1 km .
