CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad met with the Ghanaian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mohamed Tijani Habibo, together with officials from the Ghanaian Embassy in Riyadh.

Al-Murshad welcomed the guests and the latest progress on current development projects financed by the SFD in Ghana was discussed.

The meeting was held in light of the ongoing mutual cooperation between Ghana and Saudi Arabia with the joint aim of achieving sustainable development goals, implemented through development projects funded by SFD.

Ghana’s Ambassador, Mohamed Tijani Habibo expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its support to Ghana under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Kingdom, represented by SFD, has provided 11 loans to Ghana to develop its water, education, health, transport, energy and agriculture sectors. Nine projects have been completed with a further two still under construction.
