The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, today received at his office in Riyadh Senegal’s of Economy, Planning and Cooperation Minister Amadou Hott.
The Senegalese Minister was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the Kingdom, Mr. Mamadou Mamadou Sall, and the Deputy Director of Economic and Financial Cooperation Babacar Ndiaye, as well as a number of Senegalese officials.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the development projects financed by SFD in Senegal. The Minister extended his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its contribution and support, through SFD, to Senegal’s development. This support improves the living condition of the Senegalese people.
Since its inception, SFD provided 27 soft loans to implement of development projects in various sectors in Senegal, including the infrastructure, transport, health, agriculture and education.
SFD is one of the most prominent entities in providing sustainable development assistance. Since its establishment in 1975, SFD has supported more than 694 projects in 84 countries around the world. SFD seeks to achieve the stability and prosperity in the developing countries.
