CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad met here today with Minister of Mines, Energy, and Water of Mali Lamine Seydou Traore and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed SFD-funded existing development projects and those under implementation in Mali, as well as opportunities to enhance development cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that the SFD has offered 16 development loans to Mali to finance 15 development projects in the agriculture, water, transport, and infrastructure sectors, in addition to administrating four grants provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Mali. These projects and programs in various vital sectors aim to contribute to achieving economic growth and social welfare in Mali.
