The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) participated here yesterday in the work of the third Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, which is organized by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
The Fund reviewed, through an introductory pavilion, the most prominent development achievements in developing countries since its inception and over a period of more than 48 years, as it contributed to financing more than 697 projects and development programs in various development sectors in 84 developing countries around the world, in addition to the SFD’s contributions with organizations of the United Nations to implement some development projects and programs in various countries.
The SFD's participation comes within a group of international organizations and institutions working in the humanitarian and development fields, aiming at finding innovative practical solutions to the challenges that face the humanitarian work, in accordance with international principles and standards to contribute to achieving the goals of the UN in sustainable development.
