Riyadh, May 15, 2023

Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), hosted a meeting today at the SFD headquarters in Riyadh with the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Paraguay, Luis Alberto Castiglioni.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential opportunities for financing development projects in the Republic of Paraguay and explored areas of cooperation in the development field.

As part of an introductory tour, the minister's delegation visited the SFD exhibition, where they had the opportunity to learn about the SFD-funded development projects and programs in 84 developing countries worldwide. They also witnessed the positive impact of these initiatives on social and economic development beneficiaries' lives.

The meeting was attended by Paraguay's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, José Agüero Avila, and the minister's delegation.
