The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, received the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Elnur Aliyev, and his delegation at the fund's headquarters in Riyadh today.
During the meeting, they discussed Azerbaijan's aspirations for sustainable economic development and various aspects of development cooperation between the fund and Azerbaijan.
The fund and Azerbaijan have been cooperating on development since 2003, with the fund providing soft development loans to contribute to financing and implementing five development projects and programs in the education, water, and transportation sectors. These projects were completed, with a total value estimated at over $100 million.
