His Excellency Mr. Chan Santokhi, President of the Republic of Suriname, received His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), along with his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance development cooperation between the two sides.

It is worth noting that the meeting took place during H.E. Sultan Al-Marshad’s visit to Suriname, where he signed the first development agreement between the SFD and Suriname. The agreement aims to support the country’s energy sector through a development loan worth $20 million.
