The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD)’s CEO, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, today received at his office in Riyadh Siano Fofana, Côte d'Ivoire’s Minister of Tourism and Leisure.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the development projects financed by SFD in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. The Ivorian Minister of Tourism and Leisure extended his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its role in providing his country with ongoing support, through SFD’s initiatives, which contribute to improving the quality of life of the Ivorian population.
The Saudi support, through SFD, provided seven soft loans to Côte d’Ivoire to implement development projects in various sectors, including transportation, health, agriculture and education.
SFD is one of the most prominent entities in providing sustainable development assistance. Since its establishment in 1975, SFD has supported more than 694 projects in 84 countries around the world. SFD seeks to achieve the stability and prosperity in the developing countries.
