The Kingdom’s Ambassador to Kyrgyz, Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi, inaugurated a school in Azyurny village located in Chui region in Kyrgyz. With an estimated value of SAR 112,5 million, the school’s development project was financed by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), in cooperation with the Government of Kyrgyzstan.
As part of a government schools development project aiming at providing education for more than 50,000 students, Azureni School is the seventh school that opened in Kyrgyzstan with the support of SFD.
The school inauguration was attended by a number of officials and media representatives in the province.
The government schools development project in Kyrgyzstan reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing the bilateral cooperation and solidarity between the two countries, governments and peoples; and is aimed at raising the living standards the Kyrgyz people.
SFD is a leader in sustainable development assistance. Since its establishment in 1975, SFD has supported more than 694 projects in 84 countries around the world. SFD seeks to achieve the stability and prosperity in the developing countries.In line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, SFD’s objectives are focused around achieving prosperity and providing social and economic support for less privileged communities.
